Are you weary of going on the same science field trips with your class? Nature centers, museums, aquariums, and zoos are fine places to visit, but maybe it’s time to take things to the next level and give your students a field trip they won’t soon forget. Enter: Laser Ops. We are a premier entertainment center that offers science field trips for classrooms in the Tampa, Florida, area. We’d love to welcome your students to our facility to learn about the high-tech world of gaming.
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our STEM field trips help students see how these four disciplines work together in a high-tech gaming facility to make sure everything runs smoothly. Each field trip features:
Students will learn about the technical inner workings of Laser Ops during a 30-minute tour. We’ll show them how Wi-Fi, wired gaming, point-of-sale computers, and virtual reality gaming function together on an average day.
Our educational instructor provides a hands-on lesson to help students learn more about our computers and networks. By the end of the lesson, students are able to discuss how arcade games use networks to communicate and why businesses might need to use cell service indoors.
When the lessons are over, students will have ample time to play! They can make use of the arcade or take on a game of laser tag or Bazooka Ball. And don’t worry—this part of the science field trip will be as educational as the first two.
