Interactive Homeschool Activities for Tampa, FL, Area Families

Laser Ops offers interactive, STEM-based homeschool activities for families in the Tampa, Florida, area, and we’d love to host your group for a hands-on experience they won’t soon forget. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and we provide hands-on lessons for school-age children. Our STEM activities consist of three hours of educational instruction and gameplay, and our curriculum meets the Florida Department of Education standards.

Each STEM field trip involves:

• Learning the technology behind how Laser Ops works by taking a tour of the facility (30 minutes)
• A hands-on lesson on computers and networks and how businesses use each (30 minutes)
• Lunch at our onsite pizza restaurant (30 minutes)
• Time to play in our video arcade and/or take on a game of laser tag or Bazooka Ball (90 minutes)

Our STEM field trips can be booked Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Non-STEM Homeschool Activities

Do you have younger elementary-aged children or children who may not be as interested in a STEM-based homeschool activity? No worries! Laser Ops can still be your destination for interactive, educational activities. Your children can come to our facility to work on physical coordination and build teamwork skills by playing laser tag, archery tag, Bazooka Ball, virtual reality gaming, and arcade games.
